The brand new book, The Dog Who Came in from the Cold, is the second volume in the series set in London’s Pimlico, and first appeared in episodes online, in print and as downloadable audio files by the Daily Telegraph.

You too can find out how Sudoku can save the world and where MI6 go for walkies on Friday 4th June at 4.00 p.m., Barclays Wealth Pavilion. The ticket price is yet to be confirmed, but you can join up to receive more information the moment it is announced at www.hayfestival.com.

Another chance to question the master storyteller about the finer points of Pimlico Terriers as Alexander McCall Smith makes a much-anticipated appearance at the Salisbury Festival on Saturday 5th June 2010 at 2.30 p.m.

Get a guided tour of Corduroy Mansions — the charming, crumbling mansion block in London’s Pimlico — as the second volume in the series, The Dog Who Came in from the Cold, hits the bookshelves. Freddie de la Hay, Oedipus Snark and all the other residents are waiting for a cup of tea and a chat!
